hi! we are the Clarks, the people behind the brand

we are followers of Jesus Christ, seeking to become more like Him each day
and finding new ways to share His light to the world

the idea behind the products for merry + meek came to Hayley over the last 3 years when another holiday would sneak up on the family and she would wonder
"but what do I get them this time?

after watching both Christmas and Easter become so commercialized,
she set out to writing her own book about the symbolism of Christmas traditions,
now entitled "Finding Christ in Christmas"

she wanted to add more Christ-centered products, and wondered
why her kids could find stuffies to snuggle with like
animals, mermaids, babies and more 

but a sweet, serene doll of Jesus Christ wasn't really an option

years ago, she hand knitted her own doll, but knowing it wasn't quite right,
she found a manufacturer who would use 100% cotton yarn and
could fulfill all her wants and wishes towards the doll she had imagined
and now there's a handful of heirloom knitted dolls here

Hayley has so many other product ideas for Christmas, Easter, and any day in between
because here at merry + meek, we don't just believe in holidays but in holy days too

so here's to adding more Jesus into our everyday lives
and sharing His light a little better each day
